Over 47 years of combined clinical, teaching, and research experience in advanced prosthodontics and implant dentistry. Pioneer in developing systematic protocols for orthodontic and surgical tooth extrusion to preserve and regenerate alveolar bone prior to implant placement or prosthetic rehabilitation. Inventor of the Ästhura implant system. Expert in minimally invasive restorative techniques, biological tissue management, immediate implant loading, and blade implant technology. Research focuses on tooth replantation, forced eruption techniques, preservation of periodontal ligament apparatus, and achieving optimal soft tissue and bone architecture for aesthetic restorations.

 

Former Scientific Collaborator at the Prosthetic Department of Julius-Maximilians-University Munich under Professor Dr. W. Gernet (1987-1999). Expert Witness for Prosthodontics, Periodontology, and Implantology (1987-2012, DGZI since 2012). Continuing Education Coordinator for the Bavarian Dental Association, Upper Palatinate District (ZBV Oberpfalz, 1993-2000). Collaborator with ICED (International Centre of Excellence in Dentistry), Eastman Institute, London (1999). Recipient of the Adolf-Lübeck Prize for academic excellence. Developer of multiple dental instruments, filling materials, parapulpal retention systems, and root posts. International lecturer presenting throughout Europe on topics including the extrusion concept, root segment replantation, soft tissue management, implant biomechanics, and minimally invasive restoration techniques. Author of multiple publications on tooth preservation strategies and implant rehabilitation.

 

DMD from Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Germany (1973-1978, graduated with Adolf-Lübeck Prize). Certificate of Specialization in Implantology from BDIZ/EDI (1998). Specialist in Oral Implantology from DGZI/GBOI (2012). MSc in Periodontology and Periimplant Therapy from University of Freiburg (2010). Private practice since 1981.
