Professor at São Leopoldo Mandic postgraduate programs. Chair of scientific meetings including International Functional Jaw Orthopedics Congress in Lisbon featuring 33 international speakers.
DDS from Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. PhD in Physiology from Federal University of Minas Gerais. Post-doctoral training in Brazil, Portugal, Turkey, and Greece. Specialist in Jaw Functional Orthopedics. Founding member of FIOFM (International Federation of Functional Jaw Orthopedics) representing multiple countries. Published extensively on functional orthopedics, Planas appliances, neuro-occlusal rehabilitation, therapeutic posture changing, proprioception in orthodontics, and long-term results of functional treatment approaches.
