Урок 1.Non-Surgical Mid-Facial Expansion with Micro-Implant (MI) Assisted Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE), and Non-Surgical Orthopedic Correction with Micro-Implants: Breaking the Rules and Expanding the Boundaries
- Non-surgical transverse correction in both children and mature patients with Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE)- Orthopedic expansion in high angle cases with Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE)- Improving obstructive nasal/pharyngeal airways with Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE)- Other skeletal impacts associated with Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE)- Future direction in utilization of Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE)- Stability of orthopedic corrections
Урок 2.Biocreative Orthodontic Strategy (BOS) point of view on Complicated Cases correction (part 1)
- Biocreative Orthodontic Strategy (BOS) and TAKE ACTION Principles
- Five Essential Biocreative Checklist (Diagnosis, Target Decision, Treatment Tool Selection, Target Tooth/Bone/Soft tissue movement, Finishing & Detailing
- Extraction Treatment Protocol (Archwire Sequence), Nonextraction Treatment Protocol (Archwire Sequence)
- Biocreative Surgical Orthodontics to prevent from Orthognathic Jaw surgery under general anesthesia
- Transverse correction using Tissue bone borne expander and comparison with MSE
A new treatment system called ‘Biocreative Orthodontic Strategy (BOS)’ developed by Dr Kyu-Rhim Chung at 1979 to implement independent target teeth/bone/soft tissue movement while avoiding extending unnecessary orthodontic appliances to non-target segments during the orthodontic treatment period. In BOS, clinicians approaches patients with the following ten key principles: Tripod principle; Airway, a big deal; Keep an eye on growth; E=MC2; Alveolar bone boundaries; Condylar therapeutic position; Target tooth and bone movement; Importance of fewer TADs; Observe tongue posture; No tooth-borne expander for rapid palatal expansion. These principles are called as “TAKE ACTION,” which is an acronym of each principle. In the patients who have anatomic limitation such as root resorption, bone loss, extremely thin alveolar bone around the teeth, various cortical activation methods guarantee the more effective treatment outcomes than conventional methods. In this three hours presentation, I will introduce this “BOS” treatment concept, treatment effects and simple and innovative way for correcting border line orthodontic cases without orthognathic surgery such as severe anterior openbite, occlusal canting, posterior occlusal collapse, and serious anatomic complexity through update scientific researches and excellent case reports. Audience members will learn specific clinical tactics and overall treatment protocols that will broaden their scope of treatment options.

Урок 4.Orthodontic treatment with mixed dentititon: analysis of 30 years of “traps” and “successes” (part 1)
- Priorities in everyday orthodontics
- Evidence based orthodontics in 2020: what are the new relevant findings?
- Treatment in mixed dentition: key points and new procedures
- Dentofacial orthopaedics and growth prediction in growing patients
- New trends and procedures: are we on the right way? How to approach the new challenges?
Questions that this lecture will help answer:
1. Learn how to recognize the risk of over-treatment
2. Learn how to avoid the traps in orthodontics
3. Learn how to recognize the shortest way
