Понад 45 років клінічного досвіду у складних ендодонтичних випадках, включаючи мікрохірургічні процедури під операційним мікроскопом та ведення складних анатомій кореневих каналів. Пройшов навчання у Школі післядипломної стоматології Бостонського університету (1978-1980) під керівництвом професора Герберта Шілдера. Госпітальний консультант протягом 15 років, що спеціалізується на ендодонтичних ускладненнях.
Міжнародний лектор, що викладав у понад 60 країнах світу з 1985 року. Засновник і президент Клубу вивчення теплої гутаперчі та директор Центру мікроендодонтичного навчання у Флоренції. Головний редактор Endo Tribune. Опублікував понад 60 статей у міжнародних наукових журналах.

Автор тритомного підручника «Ендодонтія» та «Хірургічна мікроендодонтія» (видавництво EDRA), перекладених багатьма мовами. Колишній президент Італійського ендодонтичного товариства (S.I.E.) та Міжнародної федерації ендодонтичних асоціацій (I.F.E.A.). Активний член Європейського товариства ендодонтії (E.S.E.) та Американської асоціації ендодонтистів (A.A.E.).
