Почесний професор факультету стоматології University of Toronto, Канада. Колишній завідувач кафедри ендодонтії (20 років) і директор M.Sc. Endodontics Program (22 роки). Один з провідних світових авторитетів у дослідженні результатів ендодонтичного лікування та доказової ендодонтії.
Понад 48 років клінічного та академічного досвіду в ендодонтії з моменту закінчення в 1975 році. Отримав ступінь DMD і сертифікат спеціаліста з ендодонтії Hebrew University and Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine, Єрусалим, Ізраїль. Практикував ендодонтію в Ізраїлі 9 років до переїзду до Канади. Призначений доцентом і завідувачем кафедри ендодонтії University of Toronto (1992), заснувавши першу і єдину програму післядипломної ендодонтії Канади (1993). Підвищений до повного професора (1996).
