Advanced Splint Therapy. Hands-on Workshop by Gregor Slavicek

Three-day hands-on workshop with Professor Gregor Slavicek — a deep immersion into advanced splint therapy protocols, from fundamental principles to complex clinical skills.

During the course you will learn how to:

— Select the appropriate type of splint for a specific clinical situation
— Follow clinical protocols for splint fabrication
— Determine the appropriate splint wearing regimen for each patient
— Apply clinical protocols for splint adjustment
— Use splint design protocols for managing disc dislocation with reduction and without reduction (DDwR / DDwoR)
— Monitor patients undergoing splint therapy.

During the hands-on session, participants will practice the following skills:

— Splint fabrication
— Creating retrusive control within the splint
— Fabrication of a vertical splint using the “walking back” approach.

The training will also be valuable for clinicians who do not strictly work within the Slavicek concept. You will receive splint therapy protocols that can be applied by functional dentists regardless of their clinical approach.

By the end of the course, you will develop a clear and structured approach to splint therapy.
