Training on сomprehensive functional diagnosis of the patient using digital protocols by the outstanding Leo Emdin, prosthodontist, orthodontist, and functional dentist!

This training will help you understand how valuable dynamic information is when performing diagnostics, analyzing the received diagnostic information, and planning treatment.

During the training, together with the lecturer, you will cover:

– Combining aesthetic data with diagnostic information
– Planning the future therapeutic mandibular position using functional methods
– How to check and assess different methods of determining the CR
– How to achieve more effective collaboration between the orthodontist and the prosthodontist
– How to use dynamic information to determine the correct therapeutic mandibular position in implant prosthetics
– The responsibility of the prosthodontist in making decisions during the treatment planning stage.

– Diagnostic goals: a systematic approach

– Controversy and versatility of the bite registration methods: digital update
– Digtal facebow.

11:30 - 13:30
– Cases of asymmetry: the use of digital variator vs trajectories. Initial therapy with splints
– Digital occlusal plane
– Dynamic data in interdisciplinary orthodontic-restorative cases
– Dynamic data in implant supported prosthetics.

14:30 - 16:30
– The responsibility of choices in orthodontic and prosthodontic practice
– Comprehensive analysis of the complex clinical case.

16:45 - 18:00
– Demonstration on the patient
– Axiography using ProAxis device (SDiMatriX)
– Digital facebow
– Recording of “uncontrolled, guided, free” trajectories
– Recording of phonetic tests and chewing
– Position diagnostics (digitisation of the bite registration positions): phonetic bite, swallow bite, leaf gauge, jig
– Face scan construction using smartphone and SDiMatriX software.
