Learn and acquire the Bioclear restorative approach with Dr. Marco Maiolino — A Bioclear Diplomate in Europe!

In an intensive 2-day hands-on course, you will perform all kinds of restorative treatments using various restorative techniques of the Bioclear protocols and the Bioclear matrixing strategies.

After the completion of the hands-on course, you will be able to:

– Treat complex Class 1 and 2 cases

– Practice the quadrant dentistry approach

– Create aesthetic composite veneers with Bioclear matrixing techniques

– Treat and aesthetically manage peg-shaped laterals, black triangles, and diastemas

– Perform direct occlusal overlays and root overlays.

Restorative dentistry is an art of practice! With the Bioclear restorative approach hands-on course, you will become a dental artist, practicing and mastering the techniques and skills required to create aesthetic and functional smiles for your patients.

IMPORTANT.

а) Necessary tools from attendees:

– A red ring handpiece

– Magnification loupes (if desired, considering that each one of the attendees will be using an EXTARO microscope during the course)

b) To prepare you for the office course, you will have FREE full access to the 'Bioclear Dental Resoration Method' course with Dr. Marco Maiolino.

c) Each attendee will work under an EXTARO microscope.

PROGRAM

Day 1 (9:30-18:30, with lunch and 2 coffee breaks):

The first day is focused on posterior restorations. You will learn how to prepare modern Class 2 cavities efficiently for composite restorations, how to avoid stains and pigmentation at the margins, how to improve adhesion in challenging cases, how to prevent biomechanical complications like cusp fractures over time, how to manage deep cases while minimizing the risk of endodontic treatment, how to handle subgingival decay, and how to avoid loose interproximal contacts. There will be several hands-on exercises, starting from basic injection molding to managing quadrant dentistry in cavities with varying levels of difficulty, applying the concepts learned during the course. We will also cover full overlay restorations.

– Treatment protocols of complex caries cavities (subgingival cases , wedge deforming matrix, ring collapse). Hands-on 

– Management of challenging caries cavities of tooth number 45 and 46. Hands-on 

– Quadrant dentistry on complex cases of tooth number 35, 36, 37. Hands-on 

– Biomechanics of compromised teeth and crack's biomechanics

– Direct overlays with the shield technique. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope 

– Direct overlays with the free-hand technique. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope.

Dinner with attendees (INCLUDED IN YOUR FEE).

Day 2 (9:30-18:30, with lunch and 2 coffee breaks):

The second day is focused on anterior restorations and mostly hands-on, starting from Class 3 and injection molding. We will dive into managing diastema, avoiding the risk of midline cant, and managing conoid. Additionally, we will cover black triangle management, the correct use of root overlay, and the full veneer approach, combining all the techniques learned during the day.

– Class 3 prep design and injection molding technique. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope

– Diastema closure. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope

– Multiple black triangles closure. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope

– Restoration of peg lateral incisor with the flow bridge technique. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope

– Matrix selection for complex cases. 

– The root overlay method. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope

– Closure of large diastema with the silicone index technique. Hands-on experience working with the EXTARO microscope

– Q&A session with attendees.
