Created clinical risk assessment scores for prediction of peri-implant disease and unfavorable outcomes, enabling evidence-based preventive strategies during maintenance appointments.
International authority on implant maintenance, having presented at numerous national and international conferences as keynote speaker. Developer of the MALO CLINIC maintenance protocol integrating clinical guidelines with epidemiological tools for optimal patient and clinician outcomes. Graduated in Oral Hygiene from ISAVE (Institute of Higher Education of Alto Ave), Portugal. Master's degree in Epidemiology from Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, Portugal.
