Medical doctor and orthodontist with extensive teaching experience in the field of Neuromuscular Orthodontics. He received his Medical degree Summa Cum Laude from the University of Naples in 1987 and his specialty degree in Orthodontics and Gnathology from the University of Padua in 1990.
His main focus since 1988 has been the application of the Neuromuscular principals to orthodontics. He developed a unique orthodontic diagnostic and treatment protocol and concieved Neuromuscular Orthodontics as a distinct branch of the orthodontic specialty (1994,Savasystem).
He has lectured in Brazil, Spain, India, Bahrain, UAE, Canada, Czech Republic,Russia,Ukraine, UK and Italy since 1989. He has acquired an extensive experience for complex TMJ pathologies and maxillo-facial surgery as a hospital consultant for 15 years.
Director and adjunct professor for the Masters on Neuromuscular Orthodontics at the Universitat of De Valls, Andorra 2015-2017. Founder and President of ICNOG (International College of Neuromuscular Orthodontics and Gnathology) in 2006.Adjunct professor for the Masters on Neuromuscular Orthodontics at the Universitat Jaume I, Castellon, Spain.
Physiotherapist with an exclusive pratice in OMT at the Polyclinique Bordeaux Tondu, in France.
Holder of university degrees in cranio-facial anatomy and in sciences of movement analysis.
Qualified in structural osteopathy. For many years he worked in different fields of myofunctionnal therapy as OSA, posture, facial growth, bariatric and orthognathic surgery.
Professor at IFMK of Bordeaux and Dax, and at the University of Bordeaux, for the degree in cranio-maxillo-facial reeducation at the faculty of medicine.
Author of scientific articles and book chapters.
The current Vice President of the International Society of Tongue Kinesithérapy (SIKL).
The President of French Association of Oro Maxillo-facial Re-education.
2013. Defended her thesis on «Normalization of the position of lateral teeth of the upper jaw of the patients with distal occlusion in the period of permanent occlusion» - Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. 3 patents have been received on the theme of the thesis. The use of more than 20 various braces, microimplants since 2003, several types of lingual braces in practice since 2001. Member of the World Federation of Orthodontists, European and Russian Orthodontic Societies. Since 2009: The international certified lecturer of the International Association of Microimplantation in Orthodontics. Wide experience of holding seminars and making reports within the frameworks of the international congresses and conferences: Germany, France, Great Britain, Poland, Thailand, China, South Korea, Lebanon, Jordan, India, Japan, etc.
