Burak Buldur

Prof. Dr. Burak Buldur completed his undergraduate and doctoral education at Sivas Cumhuriyet University, where he has been teaching pediatric dentistry since 2013. As the youngest Professor of pediatric dentistry in Turkey, he currently serves as a full-time Professor at the same university. He has held various positions such as Editor-in-Chief, Guest Editor, and member of the editorial board in many international journals. He is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the international journal "Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry". He is the President of the annual international scientific congress, “International Congress of Contemporary Pediatric Dentistry (ICCPD)”, which welcomes participants from more than eighty countries from all over the world. Prof. Dr. Burak Buldur was included in the "World's Most Influential Scientist" list, which was published by Stanford University in 2021, at the rate of 2% according to academic and scientific performance among 7 million researchers all over the world. Dr. Buldur has many international scientific publications, is an editor and author of chapters in textbooks, and an active reviewer in more than twenty-five SCI indexed journals. He is an active member of many professional organizations, including the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD) and the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD). His academic research interests include dental anxiety in children, behavior management, pediatric endodontics, regenerative endodontics, and qualitative research in dentistry.
